An Agricultural Machinery Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing farming equipment like tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fix and perform regular maintenance on farming machinery, including engines and electrical systems.
- Identify and fix issues with machinery to reduce downtime.
- Help install new machines and ensure they’re set up correctly.
- Order and track spare parts needed for repairs.
- Perform routine checks to keep equipment in good condition.
- Follow safety standards during repairs and maintenance.
- Keep records of repairs and equipment conditions.
- Collaborate with other farm staff to make sure equipment meets farm needs.
- Will use the English language
Qualifications:
- Experience with farming equipment or machinery.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education:
- Agricultural Mechanical Engineering /Technician, Agrotechnology Engineering, Automotives Mechanics Technician, Agrotechnology Engineering
